Founder and Chairperson

Daniel Mercer

Founder and Chairman

Daniel Mercer is the Founder and Chairman of Daniel Global Asset Management Ltd. He founded the company in 2008 and has served as Managing Partner since its establishment. Since March 1, 2015, Daniel has served full-time as Chairman of the Board.

Prior to founding Daniel Global Asset Management Ltd, Daniel served for seven years as Executive Vice President of a Wallenberg family holding company.

Daniel Mercer graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1974 with dual degrees in Economic Analysis and Accounting & Finance. He also attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.

Throughout his career, Daniel has worked in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Denmark as a senior macroeconomic analyst, monetary policy research advisor, and specialist in macroeconomic modeling and forecasting, focusing on central bank monetary policy analysis, financial crisis forecasting, and risk assessment.
