DGAM promotes responsible investment and ownership practices while supporting greater transparency across the private equity and financial services industries. DGAM actively engages with investors, industry peers, advisors, and other stakeholders, and participates in relevant conferences, seminars, working groups, and professional forums.

DGAM engages with academic institutions through presentations, discussions, research interviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These collaborations may include universities, business schools, and research organizations focused on sustainability, investment, finance, and other relevant areas.

F1RST — Stockholm
F1RST is a free community initiative established by the Daniel Sachs Foundation and the Stockholm School of Economics. It helps young people aged 15–25 explore future education and career opportunities through networking, guidance, and inspirational activities. The initiative seeks to broaden access to institutions and industries that educate and develop future leaders.
Jobbsprånget — Sweden
Jobbsprånget is an internship program that connects foreign-born academics with employers, helping qualified professionals gain experience and improve their access to the Swedish labor market.
myGwork — UK and Europe
myGwork is a global professional community connecting LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse professionals, graduates, and inclusive employers. Its platform provides access to employment opportunities, networking, mentorship, and professional events designed to promote equality and inclusion in the workplace.
Level 20 — UK and Europe
Level 20 is a not-for-profit organization established to improve gender diversity within the private equity industry. Through research, mentoring, networking, and industry programs, it encourages broader participation and supports the advancement of women across investment and leadership roles.
Empowering Employees
DGAM encourages employees to support local communities affected by natural disasters, humanitarian emergencies, and other urgent challenges through employee-led fundraising and donation-matching initiatives.
These programs enable employees to organize fundraising campaigns and contribute to trusted relief organizations responding to communities in need. Examples of causes that may be supported include:
Hurricane Relief in the United States
Following severe hurricanes and related flooding, employee-led initiatives may provide assistance to affected communities by supporting temporary accommodation, essential supplies, emergency services, and long-term rebuilding efforts.
California Wildfire Relief
Wildfires in California have displaced families, destroyed homes, and disrupted livelihoods. Fundraising initiatives may support local relief organizations providing emergency shelter, food, essential supplies, and recovery assistance to affected communities.
Humanitarian Relief in Gaza
In response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, employees may support recognized humanitarian organizations delivering medical supplies, food assistance, clean water, emergency shelter, and other essential services to affected families.
Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine
Employee fundraising initiatives may also support displaced families and individuals affected by the war in Ukraine. Contributions may assist organizations providing medical aid, temporary shelter, food distribution, and other essential humanitarian services.
